Ashley is a policy analyst at Economic Liberties, where she stands up against consolidation and corruption in support of a better future across the economy.
Prior to joining Economic Liberties, Ashley was a TechCongress Fellow and Legislative Aide in the office of Senator Elizabeth Warren, where she advised on competition, consumer protection, and ethics policies, as well as led the creation and implementation of oversight and legislative projects across the judiciary, ethics and oversight, health, tax and finance, transportation, and defense portfolios.
Ashley was also a Presidential Management Fellow, working as a Research Analyst at the Internal Revenue Service, and Policy Manager at the Federal Trade Commission. At the IRS, Ashley utilized research and analytical skills to improve tax compliance and reduce the tax gap, while at the FTC she utilized research and policy analysis skills to protect consumers and promote competition.
She is a first-generation college graduate from Michigan, with a double masters in Public Policy and Applied Economics from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Economics and Finance from Grand Valley State University.
